Our team are here to help you meet your personal fitness goals. If you’re new to training or have specific goals and needs, 1 on 1 personal training is a great option. We’ve created a safe and private space where you can work out comfortably with no distractions and no intimidation.

When it comes to ‘Personal Training’ at Hopscotch Fitness – we mean Personal. You won’t feel like another number, or be distracted by other clients or trainers on the floor. This is a session that is all about YOU, and what it will take to help you reach your ideal health & fitness goal.

Our private fitness studio in Burwood allows for a highly flexible and personalised approach to training. Our trainers create customised programs to suit your individual needs, ability and preferences.

Want to learn more about how you can get started on your fitness journey? We prioritise our 1-on-1 personal training sessions in Burwood to help provide you with a personalise and exclusive training experience. We’re here to help you every step of the way. Here’s some more information to see if we’re a good fit for your health goals.

Will the training be tailored to my fitness level?

Absolutely! Safety in your personal training sessions is so important. So, to achieve this we conduct an initial 1-on-1 assessment with you before we begin your training journey.

Our initial assessment helps us to determine your:

  • Current fitness levels
  • Previous health and fitness history
  • Your fitness goals
  • And any injuries or niggles that we need to work with.

This allows us to create a base for your fitness plan and provide a personalised program that is flexible and customised especially for you.

Will there be other people training in the studio?

Your 1-on-1 personal training sessions are private with your own trainer. While there may be other trainers with their clients, our studio is quite large and we minimise the number of sessions at one time.

This allows you and your trainer to be completely focused on YOUR workout in a safe, non-intimidating space.

But of course, if you would prefer to work out in a small group of like-minded people, then check out our semi-private training sessions.

Can I train multiple times per week?

Of course! For 1-on-1 personal training, you’ll need to complete a minimum of 2x training sessions per week with us. This is important to ensure you maintain good momentum and maximise the potential for your overall health and fitness success.

It is encouraged that you continue your training outside of our sessions in your own time. And our trainers will guide you on how much what to work on between your sessions with us.

Are there minimum commitments for Personal Training?

At Hopscotch Fitness, we offer multiple package options starting with a 6 month minimum for personal training. We find this helps people build new and long lasting habits.

Whether you’re trying to lose weight, tone up, build muscle or get stronger, we find these options allow most people to make training a lifestyle change, as opposed to ‘something they tried’.

If you’re travelling, we’ll just need some notice and can either suspend your membership, or arrange makeup sessions before / after you trip.

Can you help with my nutrition?

We believe that you “can’t out-train a bad diet”. Nutrition is the cornerstone of your help and can impact your mood, energy, inflammation in the body, and of course – your weight.

If you need help with your nutrition, then we’re here to help! We provide a safe and encouraging space to assess your current food intake and work with you to align your nutrition with your training goals.

What do I need to bring to my personal training sessions?

We provide all the gym equipment you need for your training. So, you just need to bring:

  • Water
  • Towel
  • Your workout clothes and shoes
  • And an awesome can-do attitude! 🙂
